Hello, and welcome to my "How to Access Aged Care". I am passionate about aged care and empowering older adults to lead fulfilling lives.

For my entire adult life, I have immersed myself in the world of aged care, supporting seniors and their families through various stages of aging. As an aged care social worker, I have had the privilege of making a meaningful impact in hospitals, providing vital care and compassion to older adults during their healthcare journey.

Beyond the hospital setting, I've also been deeply involved in community development, facilitating essential services for older adults to thrive independently within their communities. Witnessing the resilience and strength of older adults has continuously inspired me to create inclusive environments where they can flourish.

I am pursuing a PhD in aged care research, delving into legislation in Australia and the USA that supports older adults in aging in place. My mission is to drive positive changes in aged care policies and services, ensuring that older adults receive the support they need to age gracefully and comfortably within their homes.

My journey has been enriched by a Master's degree in International Law, which has provided me with a unique global perspective on aged care practices and their implications. This multidisciplinary approach allows me to bridge the gap between research and practice, making a lasting impact on the lives of older adults.

Aging should be celebrated as a rich and transformative phase of life, and my work revolves around promoting dignity, respect, and enhanced quality of life for every older adult I encounter.
